The Society is located in a beautiful Greek Revival style 1833 Universalist Meeting House. Exhibits include The Isaac Snow collection of Revolutionary War and War of 1812 artifacts, Shipwreck artifacts from the Portland, Montclair, Sparrowhawk, Pendleton, and Eldia; early photographs, paintings, commemorative china, costumes, toys; Native American stone art, tools and weapons; Lifesaving equipment used by the Coast Guard; and Papers of local authors Margaret Stranger and Gladys Taber.
