With instant access off I-93, Loon has a range of Alpine skiing, from smooth cruisers to tough challenges like Blue Ox. Snowmaking has improved steadily, and Loon has four separate areas for tree skiing -- a total of 22 acres. The surrounding town of Lincoln has lots of beds and plenty of nightlife as well. Loon Mountain has been awarded medals by Ski Magazine in the areas of accessibility, grooming, service, lodging, dining, apres-ski and family programs.
